Trivia Corner

Each Sunday throughout our 175th Anniversary year, there will be a trivia question. Find the answers below or on the sandwich board beside the caring table in Searls Hall.

This week's question:

While the "roots" of our church go back 175 years, there was no church building for more than two decades. Where did the little congregation meet?

Last week’s Q & A:

Q: The second time the chrome shovel in the hall beside the Finance Office was used in the ground-breaking ceremony for the present church. Exactly what was the date for that ceremony?

A: Exactly 60 years ago, at the Easter Sunrise Service on April 10, 1955, that first shovel of dirt was removed, which was the ceremonial beginning for the building of our current sanctuary and offices.
