Upcoming Activities and Announcements

A few years back, the Membership Committee ordered name tags for the entire congregation. They are kept in the narthex near the top of the stairs. Won’t you please consider renewing your commitment to wearing your name tag in the New Year? If you’ve lost yours or are a new member OR a visitor who would like a name tag, please contact the church.

The Women's Society of Christian Service wishes to thank all who participated in the Christmas Bake Sale. We raised $497 which will be used to buy additional tables for Searls Hall Thank you, again, everyone.

A lovely Lenox candy dish was left in the church kitchen. If you happened to be the owner, it can be claimed at the church office.

The coffee and flower charts are begging for your attention. Please consider hosting fellowship hour and dedicating flowers in 2012. Maybe select a date for each……..Thank you. Keep the ministries alive.

A brand new year is here such it is time for our eleven to seventeen year olds who have not yet been confirmed to enroll in the Confirmation Class forming for late January or early February.

We will be using the Credo confirmation curriculum. Parents who would be interested in examining the instructors guide or the confirmation journal are encouraged to contact the Christian Education Director.

If any in the congregation are interested in serving as mentors to the youth please contact Mike Morrow. We are looking forward to having a faithful and enlightening confirmation class this spring. Your participation makes these programs viable and worthwhile. I look forward to seeing you in class.

Celebrate an anniversary, birthday or wedding.
Honor the memory of a loved one. Applaud a deed well done.
The Franklin Community Church Endowment Fund
can help you do so!
