Hello Members and Friends of Franklin Community Church,
I hope you all are well and you had a blessed Easter even with social distancing. Since I was home all day on Sunday I watched three different Easter services. I enjoyed the variety of messages and was nurtured by each one.Believing you can never tire of hearing the good news I am inviting you to watch this Sunday the Easter service that was put together by the Michigan Annual Conference. You will be able to hear from another David, Bishop David Bard, episcopal leader of the Michigan Annual Conference.
The link to this Easter service can be found on our church’s web page I will be back next Sunday on our YouTube channel with another worship experience.
Keep safe,
Pastor David

Hello Members and Friends,

If you have not done so already, I invite you to go to our web site On the top tab you will find Holy Week resources. When you click on that tab you will find a litany for Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. I encourage you to use the Agape meal/hand washing service in your home. I will not be making a recording for that service.

I will be posting a Good Friday service on our YouTube channel. Either at 12 noon or some other time set aside part of Friday to remember our Lord’s crucifixion.

I will also be posting an Easter service as we celebrate the resurrection in a very different way.

Yours in Christ,

Pastor David

Letter from Our Pastor…

“Stay home & stay safe”. That was Governor Whitmer’s decree to the State of Michigan. Following that order Franklin Community is closed for worship, meetings and any other group activities. The only exception is AA that continues to meet Monday and Wednesday evenings.

Though nothing is happening in the building that doesn’t mean the church has shut down. Through mailings and social media we will continue to support and strengthen our members and friends.

On Youtube search Franklin Community Church. You will find recorded worship experiences.

If you are on Facebook and have not yet followed the church, I invite you to do so. Devotions and announcements will be posted.

Since you are reading this letter on Franklin’s Web page, you know how to find this part of our social footprint. On the top of this page you can find links to our Youtube channel as well as our on-line giving portal.

I encourage our members to continue financially supporting your church. Our faithfulness will enable the church to pay it’s expenses including staff salaries.

These are indeed anxious times. There are many verses in scripture that express God’s care for us. The one I share is Isaiah 41:10.

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.

Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you and help you.

I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”

My cell number is 248-761-4327. Call me if you need help or just want to talk or pray.

Yours in Christ,

Pastor David Huseltine
